
Korean Film Night: Take Care of My Cat
Continuing it season highlighting Korean female filmmakers, this weeks Korean Film Night features Take Care of My Cat(2001), a coming of age film directed by Jeong Jae-eun. The movie chronicles the lives of a group of friends — five young women — a year after they graduate from high school, showing the heartbreaking changes and inspiring difficulties they face in both their friendships and the working world. Starring Doona Bae, Lee Yu-won and Ok Ji-young.
The film will be screened this Thursday evening at 7pm, 8 September. Screenings are free but places must be booked in advance. Note that visitors cannot be admitted after 7.10pm.
This month also sees a series of daytime screenings during the week celebrating Paju The Book City with several book or blog adaptations, including The Shower, JSA: Joint Security Area and My Sassy Girl.
