Yep, it’s that time of year again! The London Korean Film Festival returns with another great line-up of new Korean films with many directors actually in attendance…

The dust has hardly settled on the London Film Festival, and there’s another on the way. But hell, it’s cold outside now – so let’s head indoors and catch a movie, what do you say?

It’s the fifth year the festival has run, and this time it’s been organised in association with the ICA, who will host many of the movies. And boy, are we in for a treat this year!

Films include Kim Jee-woon’s first film since The Good, The Bad, The Weird, I Saw The Devil, starring Old Boy’s Choi Min-shik (their first film together since Jee-woon’s breakout film The Quiet Family), which will be accompanied by a Q&A with the director himself; Im Sang-soo’s celebrated The Housemaid, which caused a stir at this years Cannes Film Festival, again with a director Q&A; a retrospective of Jang Jin’s work, including Good Morning President, Guns & Talk and Someone Special – all attended by the director; Kim Dae-woo’s The Servant; Kang Dae-gyu’s Harmony; Jang Hun’s Secret Reunion starring Song Kang-ho and Kang Dong-won; The Man From Nowhere starring Won Bin, last seen in Mother, with director Lee Jeong-beom in attendance; Lee Jung-ho’s Bestseller; and much, much more.

The festival runs from 5 to 23 November, with screenings will be held at ICA, Odeon Westend and Apollo Cinema in London.
