Chow Yun-fat returns to the screen as the legendary Chinese philosopher, and we have three copies of the DVD to giveaway!

Win Confucius on DVDIt feels like some time since we’ve seen Chow Yun-fat on screen, at least in terms of a worthy role (I mean, would you include Dragonball: Evolution?), but this new adaption of China’s infamous philosopher looks set to put Lamma Island’s most famous son back up there.

From Sanping Han, acclaimed producer of Red Cliff, The Warlords, The Promise, Protégé and City Of Life And Death, director Hu Mei and cinematography by Peter Pau, who won an Oscar for his work on Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Confucius is described as a ‘epic masterpiece balances breathtaking spectacle, visceral action and heart-wrenching drama to deliver one of this year’s most unforgettable movies’.

Confucius will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on Monday 4 October courtesy of Cine Asia. Extras include an audio commentary by Bey Logan, making of featurettes and a trailer.
