Described by critic Tony Ryans as ‘Probably the best ninja movie ever made’, Kamui: The Lone Ninja comes to DVD and Blu-ray on 9 August courtesy of Manga Entertainment. Starring Ken’ichi Matsuyama (Bare Essence Of Life, Death Note, L – Change the WorLd, Kaiji: The Ulitmate Gambler) and directed by Yoichi Sai (Blood And Bones, Doing Time, All Under The Moon), the film is adapted from the legendary multi-volume manga series created by Japanese artist and essayist Sanpei Shirato in 1964.
