Watched “Mitsuko Delivers” yesterday at the cinema. During its first half it’s a good film based on a good idea, plus the photography and the light are so nice.
But, was it necessary to make it so histrionic during the last forty minutes? Didn’t they realise that it could be as funny anyway, and even funnier, without all the yelling and the messing and the running around stuff? Really? To be honest, for me it even turned out distressing at some point.
