We’re offering you the chance to win a copy of one of the best films of last year, the multi-awardwinning Life Of Pi…
So often undeserving films get applauded that we end up overlooking those that deserve it. Somehow despite walking away with four Oscars (not to mention two BAFTAs, including Best Director, Cinematographer and Musical score, Life Of Pi seemed overshadowed by Argo winning Best Picture. Which rather stuck me as ponderous, not least because as enjoyable as Argo was, Life Of Pi was a far greater achievement.
Director Ang Lee (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Sense and Sensitivity, Lust, Caution) magically brought Yann Martel’s ‘unfilmable’ novel to life to ways we couldn’t have imagined a decade ago. A young man (Suraj Sharma) survives a disaster at sea is hurtled into an epic journey of adventure and discovery. While cast away, he forms an unexpected connection with another survivor: a fearsome Bengal tiger.
Ang Lee’s crowning achievement lies in making a film that utilises 3D to its fullest, most immersive effect (rather than tag it on as an afterthought). Which is why we’re delighted to be offering the chance to win two copies on 3D Blu-Ray with standard Blu-Ray and digital copy! This edition includes a meerkat island full of extras, with documentaries, storyboards, 3D/2D deleted scenes and VFX Progressions.
All you have to do is fill in the form below, not forgetting to answer our ‘tricky’ question. Good luck!
Life Of Pi is available now on 3D Blu-Ray + Blu-Ray + UV Copy, Blu-Ray + UV and DVD from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.
